Good Kanthal

Not much to say about Kanthal unless there's some glaring issue. This was packaged nicely. It works as intended. All good.
We get 30ft here, which in my opinion, is actually a good amount. I'd say I average about 4 inches of Kanthal per coil. A 30ft spool will get me about 90 coils. That's roughly $0.05 per coil.
I'm MTL, so I went with 32g. Four or so wraps of average diameter lands me between 1 and 2 ohms, which is perfect. I usually run my mods around 7-8 watts. I know I'm definitely in the minority with that, with all the sub-ohm cloud chasers out there, but the thinner wire heats up nice and quick for a perfect MTL throat hit. -
